• Manual therapy – Soft-tissue mobilization, deep massage, joint mobilization, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) and myofascial release.
• Therapeutic modalities – Heat/cold packs, ultrasound, electrical stimulation (IFC, premodulated current, TENS, muscle reeducation), iontophoresis, phonophoresis, biofeedback, cervical traction.
• Strength training – Free weights and other specialized equipment help improve your physical strength, performance and ability to avoid future injury.
• Cardiovascular conditioning – Utilizes stairclimbers, treadmills, exercise bicycles, ellipticals, upper body ergometers and other equipment.
• Work conditioning & hardening – We’re the only facilities offering the exclusive F.I.R.S.T.© program, which carefully and effectively conditions patients for safe return to work. Our unique sports performance-based work conditioning program can even help you after spinal fusion surgery.
• FCAs – We use the internationally recognized KEY Functional Capacity Assessment administered by certified assessment specialists. We objectively measure and quantify your individual functional capabilities for work.
• McKenzie - trained physical therapist – Each of our locations has a McKenzie- trained therapist specializing in cervical, thoracic and lumbar diagnosis.
